2027 NFL Championship Futures Odds
Feeling The Draft
LATEST UPDATE: Inevitably, the NFL Draft tends to pique bettors’ interest in Super Bowl futures odds. That’s especially the case for two teams following the April 23-25 Draft.
The New York Giants are the most-bet team at BetMGM from April 23-27, taking 8.1% of all tickets. Big Blue surprisingly landed Ohio State linebacker Arvell Reese in the first round. Reese was expected to go No. 2 overall, but dropped to New York at No. 5.
The Giants also held the No. 10 overall pick, selecting Miami offensive tackle Francis Mauigoa to help protect second-year QB Jaxson Dart. New York opened +6600 in Super Bowl odds and was at +8000 before the Draft.
As of April 27, the G-Men are back at +6600.
The Kansas City Chiefs have taken the most money from April 23-27, at 12%. K.C. traded up from the ninth pick to the sixth pick in the first round, in order to secure LSU cornerback Mansoor Delane. The Chiefs also had pick No. 29, taking Clemson defensive tackle Peter Woods.
But the needle didn’t move for Kansas City, which entered the Draft at +1600 and remains there in BetMGM’s Super Bowl 61 odds. That’s after the Chiefs opened +1500 back in February.
Before the NFL Draft, the Denver Broncos landed a substantial wager at BetMGM, $10,000 at +2000 to win the Super Bowl. If Bo Nix & Co., who reached the AFC title game last season, win it all this year, then the bettor profits $200,000.
Denver entered and exited the Draft at +1700.
“The Broncos, Bears, 49ers and Chiefs are our worst outcomes,” among legitimate contenders, BetMGM trading manager Christian Cipollini said.
The Giants and Las Vegas Raiders are also among BetMGM’s liability leaders, but aren’t as much a concern. As noted above, New York is +6600, while Las Vegas is a +15000 long shot (150/1), even after drafting Indiana QB Fernando Mendoza with the No. 1 pick overall.
Playing Favorites
When BetMGM first posted Super Bowl 61 futures odds, the Seattle Seahawks were +900 favorites. That was in no small part due to the Seahwks’ 29-13 Super Bowl 60 victory over the New England Patriots 29-13.
Seattle finished with a 17-3 record en route to winning the title.
The Los Angeles Rams were right behind Seattle as the +900 second choice. As of April 27, though, the Rams are the +800 favorite, with Seattle No. 2 at +850.
And it’s crowded at the top of NFL championship odds. Thirteen teams have odds of +2000 or shorter. Among the top pursuers of the Rams and Seahawks:
- Baltimore Ravens +1000
- Buffalo Bills +1000
- Detroit Lions +1500
- Green Bay Packers +1500
- Philadelphia Eagles +1500
Buffalo is No. 1 in tickets and money in BetMGM’s 2026-27 Super Bowl odds market, though not by much of a margin. The top five in ticket count:
- Bills
- Rams
- Broncos
- Chicago Bears (+2500)
- Chiefs
The top five in money at BetMGM:
- Bills
- Broncos
- Rams
- San Francisco 49ers (+1800)
- Chiefs
Seattle is eighth in both tickets and money at BetMGM.
Defending AFC champion New England is the +1800 co-11th choice, joining San Francisco. But the Patriots are well down the list for action at BetMGM, at 16th in tickets and 17th in money so far in 2027 NFL championship odds.
